Manhattan Beach

Posted by sandyalves on October 7, 2015

It has been 20 years since we last lived close to the beach. The salt air, the sound of the waves and coolness of the ocean breeze early in the morning felt like a home coming. I really enjoyed watching Caleb take, at the very least, a daily swim in the waves. The salt water and the sea breeze suit him. I might have had a glimpse of what our next adventure might be – after this one.

During our short stay at the beach, we walked every single morning along the boardwalk with Pippin in tow as the sun rose, and in the evenings we enjoyed the sun setting from our little perch behind the sea wall with a cocktail in hand. Life does appear to be much simpler at the beach.
