Zion National Park

Posted by sandyalves on October 25, 2015

There are references to Zion being “the spiritual point from which reality emerges”. If you have ever been here you can’t do anything but agree. The local indians here call Zion the straight up land. It appears as if the canyon and all surrounding peaks have grown up right out of the ground along with the trees.

I have had the great opportunity and privilege to have stayed and hiked in Zion several times now. This past Spring I attended a Happiness retreat here and it changed both my life and reality. What emerged for me was my ability to let go of memories and feelings that I no longer had a need for and that no longer served me. My current visit here has been equally rewarding. The colors, sounds and smells, have a peaceful healing quality.

The slogan for Utah is “live elevated”. That is definitely true here in Zion.
